Description
When it comes time to replace the injectors in your Cummins, wouldn't it be nice if you could get everything you needed in one complete package? Of course it would, and that's why we've put together this complete package that will deliver you a set of Industrial Injection 60 horsepower injectors, injector connector tubes, connector tube removal tool, fuel filter, and even a bottle of F-Bomb fuel additive. All you need to supply are a pair of hands and some basic hand tools to complete the job. The original injectors found in the 2004.5-2007 Cummins are sometimes termed "505 injectors" which simply is relating to the Bosch part number of 0 986 435 505, as the last three numbers are what typically change throughout the various engine changes. These injectors in their original state were found to have a high failure rate that Bosch (and Dodge....and Cummins) deemed due to both poor fuel quality and inadequate filtration. But didn't your truck come with a fuel filter?! Overall, they did confirm that an update was necessary, thus a design change was put in place that are substantially more robust than the original units. But for those that never had updated injectors installed, or are simply looking for an increase in horsepower, a new set of 60 horsepower injectors from Industrial Injection will deliver not only the extra power you're looking for, but the longevity that will outlast your truck. As we previously mentioned, though, when it does come time to install your new injectors, you'll need more components than JUST the injectors. First, you really need to replace the connector tubes, which essentially connect the injector inside of the head to the injector lines, external the head. These tube are also known to wear, like the injectors, both internally, as well as externally, where the tube seats into the side of the injector. Most leaks upon installation of new injectors are due to either improper installation of the connector tubes, or reusing the original ones. And guess what, Bosch made an update to the original connector tubes, as well. While the original style tubes are fine, the newer, stainless versions are less susceptible to abrasion and feature a larger inside diameter to aid in fuel flow. Because we always recommend replacing them with new injectors, they are included! Next, in order to remove and install your connector tubes, you COULD use needle nose pliers like many end up doing. However, doing so can very easily cause damage to the threads. The fix? We include a connector tube tool that gets threaded onto the tube and features a knurled grip for simple threading of the tubes. It really doesn't get much easier than this. Now that you've got your new injectors and connector tubes installed, don't you think that protecting that investment would be a good idea? Of course it would be! That's why we've included a new Baldwin 5 micron fuel filter that is a direct replacement for the filter in your stock canister. Lastly, a bottle of F-Bomb Diesel Fuel Additive will ensure that everything is clean, water free, and with a boost of cetane for proper combustion.

About Industrial Injection

With one of the most recognized names in the diesel performance industry, Industrial Injection has earned their reputation.

INDUSTRIAL INJECTION DIESEL PERFORMANCE

Industrial Injection's innovative product line has proven itself, over and over again, on the street and the strip. Diesel Power Products carries the complete line of turbos, twin turbos, injectors, stock and modified P7100's, stock and Hot Rod Vp44's, stock and modified Cp3 injection pumps and dual feed lines for both Duramax and Cummins. Industrial Injection is a family operated business, founded by Brady Williams, in 1985 and currently owned and operated by his wife and sons. Bradys initial start in fuel injection was with a local shop, mopping floors after school. By 25, Brady was a master technician at the Association of Diesel Specialists for all manufactures of turbochargers and fuel equipment. With hard work, sacrifice, and a little help from fate, 30-year-old Brady opened the doors to Industrial Injection.

Industrial Injection received its name from servicing construction, agricultural, and mining equipment, as well as over the road truck engines. It was primarily an agricultural and industrial fuel shop. However, when Ford, Dodge and GM decided to power pickup trucks with diesel engines, Industrial Injection was forever changed.
