Description
Want suspension that actually reacts to how and where you drive your HD truck? The ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series Front Shock with Remote Reservoir and CDEV takes ride control to the next level with electronic compression tuning. Instead of a fixed shock setup that forces you to compromise between comfort and performance, this system lets you adjust damping on the fly based on road conditions, load, or driving style. Factory shocks can’t keep up when things get rough or when the truck is working hard, but this setup keeps the front end controlled, stable, and predictable in every scenario. Built around ICON’s 2.5” aluminum-bodied V.S. shock platform, this system uses a remote reservoir design to increase oil capacity and improve heat dissipation, helping maintain consistent damping performance under sustained use. The aluminum construction keeps weight down while improving corrosion resistance, and the monotube internal design ensures precise, repeatable damping response. The key feature here is ICON’s CDEV (Compression Damping Electronic Valve) system, which electronically adjusts oil flow through the shock in real time, reacting in milliseconds to changing terrain and driver input. This allows a wide range of tuning without manual adjustment, giving you a highly adaptable suspension setup for mixed-use trucks. Combined with heavy-duty internal components, rebuildable construction, and vehicle-specific valving, this shock is built for long-term durability while delivering high-end performance control on GM HD platforms.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is a premiere performance suspension manufacturer specializing in aftermarket suspension components for trucks, SUVs and off road suspension development. The companys business is customer-driven, technology-influenced, engineering-oriented and focuses on world-class manufacturing processes and techniques. Led by head engineer and SCORE champion driver Dylan Evans, ICON Vehicle Dynamics has the unique qualities to design and build the highest quality suspension components and test them in both real world applications as well as race conditions.

ICON is often asked how they develop such revolutionary performance suspension systems. The answer might surprise you. Their engineers actually start by determining a desired outcome of the vehicle they are working on. By studying forces and their effect on the vehicle in motion (Vehicle Dynamics) they are able to determine what improvements can be made. They determine how they can improve drivability of the vehicle, how to improve the handling characteristics and what changes can be made to improve the vehicle in real world situations. The end result of all this study is the highest quality and performing suspension products in the world. What also sets ICON products apart is our incredible commitment of time and energy dedicated to both ride development and testing. From vehicle dynamic theory to our years of experience and involvement in off road racing, rock crawling and just about anything you can do with a vehicle on or off the road. ICON engineers are in control and the driving force of the entire product line and manufacturing processes. This is made possible because all of their laser cutting, metal forming, CNC machining, welding and assembly is done in house.
