Description

The GEN-Y Hitch VIKING replaces your gooseneck trailer's coupler and connects to a compatible 2-5/16" gooseneck ball in your truck bed. Its self-latching SnapLatch mechanism automatically latches when you lower the trailer onto the ball. A pull cable releases the coupler, and the latch resets for the next hookup. Choose a 4" round or square tube to match your trailer's existing coupler mounting tube. Both tube styles are available in the Standard configuration. The 4" round version also offers 6" and 9" offsets to help provide clearance around truck bed obstructions. Made in the USA from steel with a black powder-coated finish, the VIKING has a static design without torsion suspension and includes a pull cable and 3/4" pin. CAPACITY BY CONFIGURATION Standard: Up to 30,000 lbs. towing and 8,500 lbs. tongue weight. 6" Offset: Up to 25,000 lbs. towing and 6,000 lbs. tongue weight. 9" Offset: Up to 21,000 lbs. towing and 5,000 lbs. tongue weight. For anyone with a truck that obviously uses it to tow at least some kind of trailer, determining the proper ball mount for each trailer can be an unduly pain. While the height of your truck doesn't typically change very often, each trailer can have varying heights coupled with varying ball sizes. At this point, you have several options.
