The GEN-Y Hitch SPARTAN uses built-in TORSION-FLEX suspension to help absorb road shock and reduce surging, bucking, and chucking while towing. Its SnapLatch coupler automatically latches onto a compatible 2-5/16" gooseneck ball when you lower the trailer. Choose a 4" square or round tube to match your trailer's coupler mounting tube, then select the appropriate tongue weight rating for your loaded trailer. Made in the USA from steel with a durable powder-coated finish, the SPARTAN includes a 3/4" pin and a SnapLatch pull rod for releasing the coupler. IMPORTANT FITMENT & TOWING NOTES Match the tube shape and hole pattern to your trailer. Hole patterns vary by trailer manufacturer, and a custom pattern may be required. Round tube models come with angled pin holes. Contact GEN-Y before ordering if your trailer has straight pin holes. Check coupler height and trailer-deck clearance before ordering. Measure from the bottom of your current coupler to its retaining pin. Choose the model suited to your loaded trailer's tongue weight. GEN-Y specifies that the smoothest ride occurs within the model's recommended tongue weight range. Allow an average break-in period of 1,000 miles. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in your towing setup.
