Building a towing setup for a custom truck bed or dump truck takes a different mounting solution than a standard receiver hitch. The GEN-Y Hitch MEGA-DUTY Bolt-On Adjustable Hitch mounts directly to a suitable structure and provides adjustable towing heights to help keep your trailer level. Choose from 16,000 / 21,000 / 32,000 lb. configurations with model-specific drops from 2.5" to 9". Options include the adjustable receiver only, a receiver with a dual-ball mount, or a receiver with a dual-ball mount and pintle lock. Dual-ball configurations include 2" and 2-5/16" balls. Made in the USA from heavy-duty steel with a silver-vein powder-coated finish, the hitch can be used in the drop or rise position. IMPORTANT FITMENT & TOWING NOTES Designed for bolt-on custom mounting applications. This hitch does not slide into your truck's existing receiver. The 2" and 2.5" receiver options describe the hitch's attachment openings. Adjustable Receiver Only options do not include a ball mount or pintle lock. Confirm mounting compatibility and follow GEN-Y's installation instructions. Follow the rating for the selected hitch ball or pintle configuration.
