Heavy gooseneck trailers can transfer bumps and jolts into your truck. The GEN-Y Hitch DOMINATOR Torsion-Flex Gooseneck Ball uses built-in torsion suspension to help absorb road shock at the connection between your truck and trailer. Designed for select Ford, Ram, and GMC/Chevrolet factory OEM puck systems, the DOMINATOR mounts in your truck bed without drilling or permanent modifications. It includes a 2-5/16" gooseneck ball and built-in safety chain anchors, with up to 25,000 lbs. towing capacity and a specified tongue weight range of 3,500–6,500 lbs. Made in the USA from steel with a matte black powder-coated finish, the DOMINATOR is available in three truck-specific configurations. Select the application that matches your truck's factory puck system. IMPORTANT FITMENT & TOWING NOTES Requires a compatible factory OEM puck system. For anyone with a truck that obviously uses it to tow at least some kind of trailer, determining the proper ball mount for each trailer can be an unduly pain. While the height of your truck doesn't typically change very often, each trailer can have varying heights coupled with varying ball sizes. At this point, you have several options. You can carry numerous ball mounts for each trailer, or possibly you just call it "good enough" and have a trailer that is not riding level.
