The Frantz Filter Bypass System is the most efficient oil filter that is commercially available for engines today. Even after many thousands of miles of use, oil filtered through a Frantz Filter Bypass System will be free of contamination to such a degree that it is considered analytically clean and suitable for further use.
Bypass filters remove solid contamination from lubricating oil. These types of filters are capable of removing extremely small size particles from the oil by providing filtration in depth through a densely packed filtering media. "Well designed with workmanship you would expect from Fleece. No leaks and don't have to worry about it again. I did use an oxygen sensor socket to remove the old one and put this one in. Fleece instructions just say deepwell socket, but me and my buddy didn't have deepwell deep enough. So use a sensor socket. Little vice grips helped to get the stupid clamp off at the firewall which was the hardest part. Awesome design and materials you can't go wrong."

"I purchased a set of the fleece performance heads, arp stud kit and gaskets. The truck had around 229,000 miles on it when heads were installed. The truck is a lot quieter as far as diesel noise after installation. Also it picked up 2. 2 miles to the gallon and runs great. I would highly recommend these heads to anyone that maybe looking or needs heads. I was expecting the engine to be somewhat quieter because we replaced the top end. It just surprised me at how quiet it is."

"Fikter housing was nice and easy to install everything needed was included. The sender installed perfectly it doesn't say it but the float is included. Installed with a 60 gallon tank did 3 key cycles and there was no air left in the system and that was with 2 dry filters and the fuel system pretty well drained."

- This kit only replaces the upper fuel filter assembly so you would either keep the lower assembly in place, or you could upgrade with an H&S Motorsports kit or another option when once is available. - Both of those are primarily designed to work with pickup style trucks. However, If you have a factory pump part number of 13578389 or 13578388 the FPE-34563 will work or if you truck came with factory part number 13578389 or 13578388 the FPE-34564 will work. Thank you.

- I have this filter installed in my truck. All connections are good, filter on correctly, yet you can hear a hissing noise coming from it when the fuel system is pressurized. Is that normal, or is there something wrong with my unit?
- That is normal. It will be louder at first when the air is being purged out, but you will still hear some noise from fuel flowing through the filter head if the truck hasn't been started yet.
