Description
Finally, a seamless, high performance lift pump system for your LML Duramax that will supply consistent fuel for your stock truck, or up to 800 rear wheel horsepower builds. This is also a key part to add to your truck if you are looking to obtain the best possible fuel economy, efficiency, and longevity out of your LML fuel system. Not only is this a high performance lift pump system, but this is a direct replacement for the OEM in tank sending unit and easily installs in half the time of other lift pump systems. No longer will you have filters hanging down low or noisy frame mounted pumps!
If you do not know already, Duramax trucks do not come with any lift pump supplying fuel to the injection pump. This added stress on the fuel system can create poor mileage and low power especially under a loaded situation. The factory CP4 injection pumps are substantially weaker than that of the previous model years CP3. Not having a steady reliable flow of fuel will increase the risk of the CP4 failing. Adding this pump from Fleece will drastically reduce the chance of CP4 failure. Also, any time a tuner is added to these trucks, more fuel is demanded out of the injection pump and if there is no fuel supplying that pump, you are loosing power! Adding a lift pump system to your LML will help improve overall efficiency and mileage. They are however absolutely necessary for anyone that wants to make power on these trucks. Until now, the only options were frame mounted pumps that look out of place on your LML Duramax. No more noisy lift pumps, cutting holes in your fuel tank, or quarter tank issues. Fleece's drop-in lift pump allows for silent operation, utilizes the factory connections for an easy installation and its active fill bucket technology eliminates the need for a draw straw or tank sump. TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:- 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
- 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
- 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
- 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
- 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. The all new headquarters provides additional space for product development, production and work areas, assembly and testing, a larger warehouse, as well as four engine dynamometers, and two-story office space.
- 2020: Fleece Performance receives ISO9001:2015 Certification.
- 2021: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
- 2022: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted again as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
