TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:
  • 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
  • 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
  • 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
  • 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
  • 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. The all new headquarters provides additional space for product development, production and work areas, assembly and testing, a larger warehouse, as well as four engine dynamometers, and two-story office space.
  • 2020: Fleece Performance receives ISO9001:2015 Certification.
  • 2021: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
  • 2022: Fleece Performance Engineering was voted again as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

"After much research this is the turbo that was most recommended. Did the installation with the help of my son who has more knowledge about turbos than I do. The 4 bolts that hold the turbo to the exhaust manifold need a special wrench that is curved to get to the back bolts. Ordered off Amazon it is called "12MM & 15 MM 12-point Turbo charger wrench tool. We got it off without the wrench but ordered the wrench. It is curved and uses a 1/2" drive ratchet. Definitely helps to torque the nuts and get to the nuts. Also ordered TEKTON 1/4 inch drive 10MM universal joint socket. This is especially helpful to get to the oil drain tube. Have not used it much but it sounds better and definitely has more get up and go. So far happy with purchase."

Only had it for about a month but so far great

"Im running a decent reliable build around the 600 hp range and put this turbo in when the actuator on my old one went out. I didnt notice a huge power gain but it was definitely there, especially in the top end but the exhaust brake was alot stronger and the sound is noticeable if the stereo is off but its not overwhelming at all which was a major concern for me because I use this truck to drive across state lines semi frequently but the rumble and turbo sound when it does light is awesome and so far performance has been amazing, it also dropped my egts by almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit on the top end which was awesome and helped me feel alot better running my usual 150hp tune while pulling 33,000 lbs up a mountain pass"

These do not come with speed sensors, the one from the factory turbo would have to be swapped, or a new one would have to be purchased.

No, this turbo is only intended for use on pickup applications, not cab and chassis.
Does this turbo come with the silence ring that you have to punch out on the stock turbo or no
This is ready to go out of the box. It does not require you to punch out the"silencer" at all. Thank you.
Is the replacement drain line the fleece one?
Yes the 2 options on the page for feed and drain lines are both coming from Fleece.
