As a 100% drop-in replacement turbo, the Fleece VGT Cheetah does not require an expensive installation kit. With Fleece's exclusive FMW compressor wheel and inconel turbine wheel technology, you’ll enjoy smooth throttle response and big top-end power. All turbos feature a new actuator.

TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:- 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
- 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
- 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
- 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
- 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. The all new headquarters provides additional space for product development, production and work areas, assembly and testing, a larger warehouse, as well as four engine dynamometers, and two-story office space.
- 2020: Fleece Performance receives ISO9001:2015 Certification.

"Im running a decent reliable build around the 600 hp range and put this turbo in when the actuator on my old one went out. I didnt notice a huge power gain but it was definitely there, especially in the top end but the exhaust brake was alot stronger and the sound is noticeable if the stereo is off but its not overwhelming at all which was a major concern for me because I use this truck to drive across state lines semi frequently but the rumble and turbo sound when it does light is awesome and so far performance has been amazing, it also dropped my egts by almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit on the top end which was awesome and helped me feel alot better running my usual 150hp tune while pulling 33,000 lbs up a mountain pass"

Hardest part of the whole job is re-installing the drain. Have some spare banjo washers. The ones sent with the turbo are not of the highest quality"

"Install was not bad at all, besides the fact they wanted me to remove the engine mount on that side which set me back 4HOURS! I don’t recommend doing that. I ended up bending the heat shield around the mount with a small pry bar to remove drain line and coolant return lines and I removed 3 of the turbo studs and cut one that was seized up to remove the old turbo. I guess that’s what I get for reading directions. Product was great all codes are clear and it produces boost as expected!"

- These do not come with speed sensors, the one from the factory turbo would have to be swapped, or a new one would have to be purchased.

- No, this turbo is only intended for use on pickup applications, not cab and chassis.
- Does this turbo come with the silence ring that you have to punch out on the stock turbo or no
- This is ready to go out of the box. It does not require you to punch out the"silencer" at all. Thank you.
