- The 2004.5-2007 model year option does not include a wastegate solenoid to eliminate any trouble codes that may arise from switching to a mechanical wastegate.
- To confirm proper fitment for your truck verify that the tenth digit of your VIN. If it is a 3 or 4, select the "2003-2004" option. If the tenth digit is a 5 or higher, you need to purchase the "2004.5-2007" option.

TIMELINE OF FLEECE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING:- 2008: Fleece Performance Engineering was established in North Salem, IN by Brayden and Chase Fleece. Both had a passion for continuously innovating and improving upon products already on the market. Brayden's 2004.5 LLY Duramax became the test bed to develop the TurboBrake and Duramax Cheetah, while Chase's 2002 Cummins was one of the first Cummins pickups to integrate an Allison Transmission.
- 2012: Fleece Performance upgrades both facility and location by relocating to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg, IN situated among some of the top racing leaders in the world.
- 2014: Fleece Performance acquires the area's premier engine machine shop, Freedom Racing Engines. The acquisition enables Fleece Performance to expand the engine development program and product offerings. Today, Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines build some of the most competitive engines in the industry.
- 2018: Fleece Performance breaks ground on a new 75,000 sq. ft. facililty in Pittsboro, IN.
- 2019: Fleece Performance and Freedom Racing Engines relocates to its new facility in Pittsboro, IN. The all new headquarters provides additional space for product development, production and work areas, assembly and testing, a larger warehouse, as well as four engine dynamometers, and two-story office space.
- 2020: Fleece Performance receives ISO9001:2015 Certification.

"I went from running a Tater Built turbo that wouldn’t spool and had my EGTs running 1400* with a load on it to the Fleece Cheetah that spools up faster than the towing compounds I used to run. I’ll be going back to compounds later on with this being the small turbo. Also it sounds like a jet with 5” turbo back"

Noticeably laggy with stock injectors
"I bought this turbo after I overtorqued my oem turbine shaft and sheered it off during a rebuild thinking I might as well get an upgrade. The sound of this turbo is unmatched and twists necks left and right… many people say that after an injector upgrade it will spool a lot faster and feel much better than the stock turbo but for now I’m regretting not buying a turbine shaft, swapping that and then buying a compound turbo kit because it’s not much more than the current price of the fleece cheetah drop in. Installation was straightforward and bolted up great to my oem manifold. I would install the turbo oil drain before installing the turbo (thank me later) Overall my honest opinion is this turbo should be listed a little cheaper but I won’t know it’s true worth until I upgrade my injectors"

- I have a ram 3500 5.9 does this turbo get installed directly or does it need to be modified in any way!
- This turbo is a direct drop in upgrade, no modifications needed.
- My truck is a 2007.5 6.7 cummins it currently has a t3 manifold on it with an HY35W turbo on it truck runs fine just curious to if I’m able to take the HY35W off and run this turbo
- Yes if you have a T3 manifold and a non vgt tune you can run this turbo.
- Do I need any other engine upgrades for this turbo to operate normal? Have a tuner on the truck. stock fuel. daily drive, light tow
- You do not need any other supporting mods to run this turbo, it is drop in ready.
- I have a 1993 cummins I built and put in my 87 F250. I currerntly have a stock turbo off of a 2003 cummins (which works good but its getting some play) and am looking to upgrade. Only thing is I need to clock my turbo a little differently so the oil drain is on top am I able to do that with this turbo?
- Clocking this turbo may void the warranty on this turbo, especially if running the oil feed line upside down.
- Is it a T3 or T4 flange?
