About Edge Products
Browse Edge Products Parts Online by Make, Model, and Year. Are you looking to upgrade your diesel with an Edge programmer? Great, you've come to the right place! Edge has been providing the diesel industry with quality tuners/programmers for quite some time, leading the charge in a digital monitor revolution. Edge knows the importance of keeping a watchful eye on all aspects of your truck; one small out of sync component might lead to catastrophic failure. And analog gauges can't keep up, even with a barrage of them mounted across your entire cab, they still lack the intuitive ease of use that EDGE builds into all their products.

Edge introduced their Juice with Attitude CTS and CS Performance Chips, Evolution CTS and CS Programmers, as well as their Insight CTS and CS Monitors receiving an overwhelming out pour of support, making the CTS and CS a couple of the most valued digital monitors in the game. Keeping up with the times, the CTS and CS have been replaced with faster, sleeker, and better working versions; the CTS2 and CS2, followed by the CTS3 and CS3. Both Edge Programmers feature the same intuitive nature of their predecessors while also offering users faster processing times, more ability to monitor engine vitals and overall control.

And while they are known best for their digital monitors, they are highly competent with diesel and gas tuning. Their Juice with Attitude and Evolution products offer your truck or off-roader big gains in performance as well as the ability to monitor said performance gains.

Reviews

"Very noticeable throttle response and way more low end torque on the ol 95 dually. Only complaint is i feel like it shifts a little too early now and definitely too soon when you’re just cruising through town at low rpm."

Chip tuner for 01 f250 7. 3

"Best chip there is with low price makes it even better, you can tell the difference on every tune level !!! 100% recommend"

Do not buy this chip

"So I bought this chip for my 7. 3 excursion plugged it in and nothing worked. Truck was running but was in stock mode switching the chip sections did nothing. As I was on the phone with tech support my truck died would not start and all my lights turned on in my truck. Well little did I know the chip fried my pcm. Sent the chip back to edge and they found out chip was bad from the start. They didn’t offer to fix my pcm and just replaced the chip. Got a new PCM from a dieaselchatonga brand new and the new chip is also not working. I reached out to both vendors and they will not refund me my money. I put a tc chip from my friends and truck runs so good. Now they want one vender edge to say the chip will be refunded by them and not this vendor"

Revolver for OBS 7. 3 Powerstroke

"So far this Revilver really woke up my 97 OBS F350. The installation instructions and pictures were not to good, thank goodness for YouTube. Besides the extra power it appears it improved my mileage. Edge seems to make quality products. All three of my trucks have a variation of Edge."

Michael N. (5/5)

Did not work

"I did everything that it said and the truck started up just fine but none of the tunes would work"

Joshua M. (1/5)

Very pleases with the chip.

"Very pleases with the chip. Everything that had stopped working. Started right back up. Thank you."

John L. (5/5)

Couldn’t be happier!

"Gave me the power I was looking for without breaking the bank! Super easy install! Even helped with my rough shift points!"

Choose a better option

"I recently bought this tuner I will say it does bring the truck alive but at a cost of absolutely tearing your transmission up, this thing makes it shift HARD. It feels like someone just rear ended your truck every time it shifts and it’s clearly bad tuning you have 6 different tunes to choose from 1 being stock works great 2 works as it should and 6 being the hottest shifts very smooth with a lot of responses which doesn’t make sense since tunes 3, 4, and 5 are absolutely garbage, so your spending 300 dollars for basically 1 tune that feels like its operating correctly and doesn’t feel like your waiting for one final shift before you hear a boom… choose a different tuner."

Q&A

Will this work with stage 1.5 unlimited diesel injectors, or would in require custom tuning?
Depending on what year, make and model of the truck and if those injectors are single or split shot style injectors.
Will I be able to use this on my 99' f 350 with the XLE4 pcm.
Yes you will, ensure that you select the correct vehicle before purchasing.
Will this fit my truck with pcm code XPC4. 2000 manual
XPC4 should use the same tuning as the DAC3 that is listed under the 2000 manual transmission truck.
Works great except high idle tune isnt working. Can it be because the pcm codes dont match?
For this chip, if the 7.3 is in an E-series van, it will not have the high idle. If yours is not an E-series and you are having issues, I would suggest reaching out to our tech support to see if we can assist you.
you say in your video that it shouldn't be put on high mileage vehicles. How many miles would yo consider high mileage?
Thanks for the question, and its a good one. Honestly, its hard to give a definitive number on how many are "too many." Lets say your truck is absolutely original equipment and never had the turbo replaced, the intercooler boots are original (if its a SuperDuty 7.3), the injectors and HPOP are stock, etc and you have 250,000 miles. At that point, the increased boost, fuel, and HPOP pressures will undoubtedly cause any of the above to wear out faster than if a chip had not been installed (especially if you run the chip on level six and tend to drive more aggressively). Now, if your wear items have been replaced and the only "real" concern here are piston rings and blowby, you're probably good for substantially more miles. If I had to personally put a number on it, if all wear engine components had 200,000 or more miles, realize that adding more power will cause items that are going to fail sooner or later, to fail sooner. I realize that's a vague answer, but if you have a truck with blowby issues and add an extra 140 horsepower, you will definitely be amplifying those issues.
