Edge 98106 EAS OBDII Pass Through Splitter
Description
The OBDII Pass-Through Splitter allows two products to be simultaneously plugged into the OBDII port at the same time. The OBDII pass-through gives the ability to connect two products, such as an Edge CTS2 unit, and another product, including, but not limited to, power running boards or custom tuning devices. This new OBDII splitter is fully populated with a 16-pin pass-through, pinned connector.
Using this new OBDII splitter, along with the new update for the Edge Insight CTS2, users can operate the Insight monitor in one port and other devices on the other port.

"I purchased this because I had a Banks Pedal Monster throttle controller installed, and I wanted to add an Edge CTS3 monitor. However I found that these two products can't operate together. . . my CTS3 won't load the guages unless I unplug my Pedal Monster. . . so this was a waste of money for me, as was my CTS3, I guess I will get a Banks guage. I called Edge and they couldn't even say if Amp Research steps would work with this splitter and a CTS3 monitor."

- Will this work with ez-link autocal?
- Yes, that will work with those devices.
- Will this work with the CTS and banks exhaust brake since they both use the ODB??
- Those have been known to cause some interference between two OBD2 controlled devices, but as long as the CTS is only being used as a monitor, that would suffice.
- i have the edge ct2 monitor screen and bully dog gt tuner for my 2006 Dodge Cummins. The edge ONLY MONITORS with no tunes. Can i change tunes on the fly with my Bully Dog while the Edge Cts2 monitor is connected to the splitter cable at the same time? I know when initially downloading to bully dog tunes to the ecm i should only have the bully dog plugged in. I just want to be able to change tunes on the fly without unplugging the edge and then plugging the bully dog back in.
- Simple answer, no. I would not try to shift tunes on the fly through a splitter. -Ben
