The factory power steering hoses in hydroboost equipped 2001-2010 General Motors 2500/3500 DIESEL pickup trucks are notorious for leaks. And unfortunately, any of the parts available from the dealers do not upgrade these kits to prevent against it from happening again. Fix it for the last time with this kit from Driven Diesel!Drawing on their experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, Driven Diesel has produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. Through rigorous testing, it was found that Stainless Steel Braid over Teflon hose generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise...noise that is NOT a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose that was chosen for the production assemblies.

The Driven Diesel Power Steering Hose assemblies are not only manufactured from superior materials, but have also been built to be easier to install and serviceable in the unlikely event of a leak. Unlike the factory design, the hydraulic hose is no longer permanently attached to the tubing sections, one of the major downfalls of the stock lines. Instead, the Driven Diesel tubing sections have been fitted with AN fittings, making the hydraulic hose portion of the line removable and replaceable. This aids installation by allowing the tubing sections to be installed independently of the hose...and allows replacement of the hydraulic hose without having to purchase the expensive tubing sections again.

About Driven Diesel
Driven Diesel, the manufacturing side of the highly accredited Strictly Diesel, is widely known for producing quality, first to market, diesel performance and maintenance products, specializing in Ford Powerstrokes. Upgrade those leaking lines
"Probably the best solution to the leaky steering lines on your duramax. These lines are top quality and far superior to the factory lines. Over the long run these will help to keep a cleaner engine bay. Down side is they are a son of a gun to change. Maybe more tedious than anything. If your changing these lines it would be a great time to upgrade to the psc pump. That upgrade will make you happy. For the full package upgrade your lb7 hydroboost to the 2011 unit. Your truck will steer and brake like new."

- Yes, these kits are going to include everything from the gear box, power steering pump and hydroboost pump.
- are there any special tools needed to install this kit?
- No special tools are required, a flare nut wrench would be handy and a little extra insurance that you don't round off the fittings. DppSands
- Hi looking at these for my 07 lbz classic. have some questions. 1.On hydraboost steel feed line has the black piece changed? pic on your site is diff than merchant automotives site?? 2. Some reviews state rubber hose length not correct. One too short other too long.??? Has this been a problem ever. Been changed?? I am particular with fit.
- Ours might be an older picture. The kits we have have the same rubber piece as the picture on merchants site. Never had a fitment issue when properly installed.
