Description
Many injector issues can actually be traced to the injector wiring harness that is part of the valve cover gasket on the Common Rail Cummins. A simple continuity test can determine if your injector(s) isn't firing properly due to the harness. Simply unplug each end and using a multimeter, or other testing equipment, determine what the amperage drop is. If the drop is 0.5 or under, that is within spec, but if it is over, then you need to replace the harness. This kit from Dorman is a great replacement for the factory piece.

"This is the only product I have ever purchased from DPP that I was disappointed in. About 5 of the 12 nuts that it came in must not have been made properly because they WOULD NOT screw onto the injector silonoid. I ended up have to jimmy it up and use a combination of the old and new gasket. . . Very disappointed because if I buy something, I never expect to have to twist and bend it in order to make it work. Other than this purchase I love DPP and will be a customer for life."
