A 36mm socket is required for removal of the CV axle nut, and medium-strength threadlocker should be used when reinstalling the CV flange bolts. When selecting optional replacement CV hardware, pay attention to the truck's suspension configuration. DmaxStore notes that the replacement hardware has 17mm heads compared to the factory 15mm heads, which can create clearance issues with some lift kits.
