Protect your truck's transfer case from one of its most common failure points with the DmaxStore Transfer Case Pump Upgrade Kit. Designed to prevent pump rub in the 261XHD manual-shift and 263XHD electronic-shift transfer cases, this upgrade addresses the wear that can occur when the factory pump housing rubs against the magnesium rear transfer case housing. Left unchecked, this can eventually wear a hole into the housing and allow the transfer case to lose fluid, potentially leading to expensive internal damage. Installing the upgraded pump cover before the problem develops is an effective way to improve transfer case reliability and avoid a much more costly repair.
The heart of the kit is a T6-6061 billet aluminum pump housing manufactured in the USA with substantially larger locating tangs than the factory design, providing more surface area and helping prevent the pump housing from cutting into the rear transfer case housing. The complete kit includes the billet transfer case pump housing, transfer case adapter gasket, and RTV silicone. If the transfer case housing already has a hole from pump rub, DmaxStore recommends replacing the rear housing rather than using this kit alone. Specialty lock-ring pliers are required for disassembly.
