Upgrade the front drivetrain of your lifted or leveled Duramax with the DMAX Extended Travel Front CV Axle Assembly. Designed specifically for 2015–2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with the LML or L5P Duramax, this extended-travel CV axle provides significantly greater articulation than the factory axle to help reduce bind and stress at increased ride heights. With up to 47° of articulation compared to approximately 23° with a factory axle, the DMAX extended-travel design allows significantly more suspension movement while helping minimize CV joint bind. An upgraded 8-ball CV joint distributes load across more contact points than traditional 3-ball designs, providing increased strength and durability for demanding applications. Important Installation Notes The extended-travel axle uses a thicker shaft than the factory unit. Clearance should therefore be verified on trucks equipped with aftermarket coilover shock lift kits.
