Description
So, you've added a lift kit, but still haul with the truck, so you also installed a set of air bags, that should take care of it, right? WRONG! The problem with this is that airbags drastically reduce the ability of the rear suspension to articulate and move through its normal wheel travel, somewhat defeating the purpose of the lift kit you just installed. Daystar has eliminated this problem with their new Air Bag Cradle. This cradle mounts to your trucks lower suspension providing more room for the air bag to safely cycle with no loss of overall wheel travel. With the standard mounting, the airbag is mounted to a bracket that is affixed to the rear axle, only allowing the axle to articulate as much as the airbag will stretch. With this cradle system, the airbag is no longer attached to the bracket or rear axle, it merely rests into the cradle. When the suspension needs to articulate, the airbag merely lifts out of the cup, then drops back in when it returns to normal ride height.....INGENIOUS!

"This is the perfect product for the guy that wants all the travel out of the rear suspension all while still having the ability to run airbags while towing. Being this kit eliminates the lower connection point on your airbags, it allows for full travel of the rear suspension. When you put a load on the truck and air the bags up, the cradle provides a solid pad to where the airbag can sit. Excellent product and idea."

"We meet again. . Ok let's get this over with. This is my review for the Daystar Winch Isolator. DPP took my money and tossed this my way faster than the state can take child support out of your paycheck. Not much to report on this besides it works. Super easy to install and functions like it should. Now don't think you can bear the winch down on it and not pull your hook through it because I'm sure you could. It's made of Polyurathanableunobtaineum so its soft. It works great by not letting things rattle around and fits snug inside a standard roller fairlead. Can't complain about the price since its cheaper than a lunch for 2 at Applebee's. In the end it was well worth the money and I would buy it again."
