Description
This is one of those aftermarket parts you really don't WANT to have to upgrade, but in order to save you a pile of cash and time later, it may be a necessity. The factory idler pivot is an inferior design to say the least, then you throw on a lift kit and larger tires, and the problem is only exacerbated. This upgrade from Cognito will ensure you'll never have to worry about it again, no matter how hard you beat on your truck. Hardened Alloy Steel Shaft Tapered Roller Bearings The idler pivot is what the idler arm mounts to and pivots about, and the OEM idler pivot has issues with bending the shaft and also bending the tabs on the frame that locate the idler pivot. When these issues happen, the passenger side of the drag link ends up higher in the frame, creating an excessive angle of the passenger tie rod and usually causes tie rod problems. The Cognito Idler Pivot is a much stronger upgrade that has a hardened alloy steel shaft with tapered roller bearings. Also included is a weld in gusset to strengthen the frame tabs in order to keep the steering components moving in their intended positions. Unwanted steering movements and play lead to premature tire and tie rod wear, lower fuel economy, lane wandering and poor steering control. Eliminate these issues with this bulletproof upgrade from Cognito.

About Cognito Motorsports Suspension
In the aftermarket suspension industry, Cognito is a household name, and for good reason. Originally started in 2001 literally out of a converted chicken coup, Cognito has grown exponentially, now one of the first names that roll off the tongues of industry professionals when asked what the best suspension is. While many know Cognito specifically for their high end upgrades and systems for Duramax powered Chevy HD's, they also build some of the best suspension component systems for Powerstroke, Duramax, and even Side-By-Sides. So whether you're looking to merely beef up your steering or suspension without any additional lift (i.e. heavy duty tie rods) or you want a lift kit that will deliver a substantially better ride and offroad performance than your stock truck can handle, you need look no further than Cognito.

Q&A

Do these fit a 98 f450 7.3 liter powerstroke shuttle bus
Do you mean an E450? And does it have an electric lift pump? Or does it have the mechanical valley mounted lift pump? -Sands
this a non regulated fuel supply?
Correct the fuel bowl delete kit will not be regulated. So you will have to supply it with regulated pressure. -Sands
I have a 2000 van 7.3 and have installed air dog, fuel bowl delete and 4 fuel line upgradesI.I am looking at doing injectors (sticking with stock)what do you suggest for #8 ad or ae?
What ever came out of the van. If you are not sure or are not in a position to pull the valve covers you could run either or. The AE has a better chance of not causing that injection "cackle" though, we have asked a couple injector shops and they recommend the AE if someone doesn't know what they have. -Sands
Are these the correct lines for my 95 7.3?
No, these lines are intended for the 99-03 7.3 Powerstroke engines. You would need PN: CNC-OBS-HPOP-LINE-W_HPX which are for the 94-97 7.3 Powerstroke engine. -Ben
Hi My name is jamie I'm from queensland australia. I have a 2006 f 250 power stroke diesel. Im just wanted to know if these hpop lines would suit my engine please Thank you Kind regards Jamie
Hi Jamie, these would not be compatible on your 2006 Model no. Just model years listed 1994-1997. -AW
