Its modern steering design delivers improved steering response and feedback, with a quicker steering ratio that requires fewer turns of the steering wheel from lock to lock. Whether your Ram is a daily driver, a dedicated tow rig, or a hardworking Cummins-powered truck, this steering box helps bring more predictable control back to the driver's seat.
Unlike a remanufactured factory unit, the Borgeson steering box is built with all-new components and features a durable cast-iron housing with a black painted finish. It is designed to work with the factory pitman arm, power steering hoses, and either the original steering shaft or a compatible Borgeson heavy-duty replacement shaft, helping simplify installation without unnecessary modifications.
APPLICATION INFO: It is not intended for cab-and-chassis models or 2020-and-newer trucks equipped with LaneSense lane departure warning.

During bidding, shops see only your service ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, and the part SKU — not your name, email, or address. Only the shop you select receives your contact details after payment. We never sell your personal information.

Most OEM shafts have similar couple/flex-joint design, so we now have replacement shafts for Dodge, Chevy/GMC. Ford and Jeep. Some feature a vibration reducer to isolate road shock.
