Description
Whether you actually take your Heavy Duty GM off road, or you just want to make it look like it can, this heavy duty skid plate will deliver. Designed as a bolt-on replacement for the stock skid and plastic splash guard, this kit will offer extra protection for the vulnerable steering and front end components of your expensive ride. Installation is a breeze as it mounts into original mounting points using factory hardware. This 2-piece skid plate will work on stock height trucks as well as with leveling kits and the BDS 2-3" coilover conversion system, and possibly other brands.Along with being compatible with the BDS coilover conversion system, these skid plates will work on stock height and leveled trucks. They're built from 10-gauge steel formed to fit the truck's contours and finished off in a durable black powdercoat finish with a stainless steel BDS nameplate riveted in place. Installation is a breeze as the 2-piece skid plate design bolts right in place of the stock plastic skids using the original hardware. The full width design gives plenty of protection from rocks, stumps, and anything else you might encounter out on the trail. FITMENT NOTE FROM DPP:
- We have ran into several occasions that even on a stock or leveled ride height application, some modification is necessary for proper fitment. To date, the extent of this involves taking a Dremel type of tool to enlarge several of the mounting holes to properly align with the factory hardware.

BDS Suspension was started in 1996 by a business group who felt it was past time to create a suspension company that truly had the best interest of the off road consumer as its' foundation. BDS LIFT KITSWhile most people whom have heard of BDS Suspension automatically think of "lift kits," that ony touches on the wide variety of suspension and steering related products that BDS offers. BDS understands that not everyone is after a complete lift kit, but still after the quality BDS products bring to the table. Some of our most popular products from BDS are replacement adjustable track bars and dual steering stabilizer kits that in many instances can be installed on a completely stock truck, or one that's leveled or lifted. Other popular "non lift kit" parts are leveling kits that include upgraded shocks, progressive rate coil springs, heavy duty control or radius arms, and even leaf springs.

"I enjoy parts that are quality and sometimes don’t hat means paying more than you want to. I work in the natural gas business and know how much regulators and such can cost so this product seems to be fairly priced. Super easy to install and they give you plenty of hose so you can pick a place to mount is and cut the excess off if you want. Product should protect the MAP sensor while allowing your tunes to still utilize it to help with the fueling on the low end."

"These skid plates seem well built and durable. Easy, direct replacement bolt on to the factory skid plates on my 2011 Silverado 2500 HD. In hindsight, I would have probably gone with the aluminum instead of steel since I temporarily remove them when I service the truck and aluminum would have been easier to work around for weight."

"The factory skid plate lasted me 5 central Oregon winters. That was 4 more than I thought it would last. This replacement skid plate is burly and easy to install. I no longer worry about the plastic breaking. Highly recommended."

Q&A
- Will these springs level out my 2018 F250 with the FX4 package? Not sure if that makes a difference or not
- Yes, these should level your 2018 F250.
- Would these work on a stock F250 Tremor?
- Yes, they will "work" on a Tremor model. That said, the Tremor models are 2" taller than a standard F-250, so by replacing the coil springs with these BDS units, you will really only be gaining around 1/2" or so compared to your stock height.
- What length shocks would I need with these springs? And what do you offer that would work. 2008 f350
