As part of the PPEI EFILive program, you will receive a preloaded EFILive AutoCal ready to load in your truck. The AutoCal will come preloaded with the individual tune of your chocie, or with all five custom tunes depending on your selection. CSP5 SWITCH You have the option of adding a CSP5 switch that will allow you to toggle between the various power levels "on the fly," in order to avoid having to re-download the AutoCal each and every time you want to change power levels for those that choose to include all power levels. Q&A

Would I be able to use my Egde CTS3 insight with the CSP5 switch that can be included with purchase? Or is it one or the other gets plugged in?
You can utilize the CTS3 as a monitoring device but cannot be used to change tune levels. The CTS3 and tuning on your truck will work independently of each other. -Mark
I have a banks monster ram intake manifold with a boost tube on my 2006 3500 24V 5.9. Everything else as far as I know is stock on the truck besides the exhaust system which I'm going to straight pipe and air filter which I'm swapping out with an S&B soon. Would this tuner work for more HP and Towing without doing anything special or more specific such as injectors, lift pump, etc.?
You will still see some gains out of your truck throwing this tuner on there. The health of your injectors/injection pump will play a role in your over all top power number you see as well as other add-ons. But yes you will see additional horse power. -Mark
Hey I have a 2006 5.9 and my parts list is -STOCK TRANS -Fass 150 with cat filters -steed speed exhaust manifold -ARP 425 head studs -S&B cold air intake - 4” turbo back straight pipe -Banks Monster Ram air -Quadzilla boost fooler -Mag Hytec deep dip trans pan (don’t know if that matters) Was wondering approximately how much hp would I gain with the EFI live V3 tuner.
It would be hard to give you an exact HP number without knowing injector size, or turbo sizing. Even then only a dyno would be able to tell you. Tuning is really designed to unlock the capabilities of the hard parts that you have put onto your truck. Give us a call if you have further questions about your set up. -Mark

None of the custom or "box" tuning companies we deal with offer any power levels specifically designed to produce smoke due to the fact that in doing so it creates excessive heat due to the amount of unburnt fuel these types of tunes produce that can cause premature engine failure. -Mark
Just installed this and when in tune 3-5 the truck surges extremely at take off/low rpm’s and I have to pretty floor it to smooth it out. Who would I contact or send my data logs to? PPEI?
