Description

Keep exhaust gas temperatures in check with AutoMeter Ultra-Lite EGT pyrometer kits, designed for diesel trucks and high-performance engines where monitoring heat is critical. Whether you’re towing heavy loads, climbing grades, or pushing a modified engine, knowing your exhaust temperature helps you make informed decisions about engine load and performance. Choose from 0–1600°F or 0–2000°F ranges in the 2-1/16-inch size, or step up to the 2-5/8-inch, 0–1600°F model for a larger gauge face. Select the temperature scale and gauge size that best match your engine setup and preferred dash layout. Each kit uses AutoMeter’s digital stepper-motor movement and a Type K thermocouple to provide responsive exhaust temperature readings, with a self-calibration sequence at startup. The Ultra-Lite series features a silver face, fluorescent red pointer, and traditional incandescent perimeter lighting; the gauges are compatible with 12- and 16-volt electrical systems. Kits include the Type K probe, wiring harness, probe mounting options, bulb and socket assembly, colored bulb covers, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. The 2-1/16-inch models provide a compact installation, while the 2-5/8-inch model offers a larger display.
