The electric models use AutoMeter's race-proven air-core movement and an included temperature sender, keeping transmission fluid outside the passenger compartment. The mechanical model uses a direct-reading Bourdon tube movement and includes an 8-foot capillary tube for installation at the transmission pan, without requiring an electrical connection for gauge operation. Choose from a 2-1/16-inch electric gauge with a 100–250°F range, a 2-5/8-inch electric gauge with a 100–250°F range, or a 2-5/8-inch mechanical gauge with a 140–280°F range. Electric kits include the appropriate sender, adapter fittings, lighting components, mounting hardware, and installation instructions; the mechanical kit includes its capillary tube, mounting adapter, lighting components, and hardware.
