This is a direct replacement APPS for the 1998.5-2004 trucks where the APPS is located below the intake manifold on both automatic and manual transmission equipped trucks.

"I am very pleased with this part. The shipping was fast and the part was well packaged. I followed the included instructions and the install went well. I used a paper clip to access the correct pin to set the voltage. The voltage required was easily adjusted. After install the instructions required depressing the accelerator slowly one time. After that the engine started easily and ran smoothly. Now, a few weeks later I have had no problems and the truck runs great. The truck has 175,000 miles on the odometer and runs like new."

- I have a 2001 Dodge and my apps is acting up. I mistakenly messed with the bell crank set screw. Does this new apps require adjusting this screw as part of the installation procedure? I don't have anyway of knowing the original position of this screw on my truck. Actually I adjusted this screw thinking I could increase the idle a bit and thats when my problem started.Thanks
- There is probably a procedure to adjust it with a voltmeter hooked up. But I would not have any instructions to do it. Most APPS will have a idle validation switch. If that is never activated it will throw a code. DppSands.
