About AirDog by Pureflow
PureFlow Technologies aka Airdog has established themselves as one of the œgo to companies for factory replacement and upgraded fuel pumps for the light duty diesel performance truck market with their AirDog and Raptor lines. If you are looking for just a reliable source of fuel, their Raptor stand alone pumps are the answer. You guys with 1998.5-2002 2nd Gen Cummins diesels equipped with Bosch VP44 injection pumps know how important this is to avoid pump failure. When lift pump pressure drops below 5psi you run the risk of ruining the expensive VP44 injection pump. The Raptor fuel pump gives you peace of mind with a LIFETIME WARRANTY , a built in ADJUSTABLE REGULATOR that supplies a constant 15-17psi available in flow rates of 100 and 150 GPH, complete truck specific installation kit with no drill mounting brackets and standard ½ big line kit included.

For those of you that prefer the added security of having a filter system to go along with your lift pump, PureFlow offers the AirDog and AirDog II systems. The original AirDog® provides a cost effective technology designed specifically for diesel pickups to remove water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from diesel fuel. The AirDog® replaces the Cummins factory lift pump and filter system, and enhances the existing fuel delivery and filtration system for Powerstroke and Duramax engines. Your High Performance diesel engine demands higher fuel flows. Yet, higher fuel flows increase the vacuum at the fuel pump and agitation in the fuel tank. These factors generate additional air/vapor in the fuel system preventing your engine from producing maximum power and efficiency. Additionally, air/vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly and also tip erosion. The AirDog® eliminates the air in the fuel that robs your engine of consistently greater performance and can also cause permanent damage to your injectors. The AirDog® also provides the fuel volume your diesel engine needs to produce maximum power, any time, every time! Increased diesel fuel economy, reduced emissions and increase power output are the net results.

The AirDog II system improves on the original AirDog by offering demand flow, so that the unit only draws as much fuel from the tank through the tank module as is required by the engine, and then returns only air and a dribble of fuel to the tank. What does this mean? Connecting to the tank module means there is no need to drill holes in the fuel tank to install an aftermarket fuel draw straw, so installation with the included fittings is QUICK and EASY. The AirDog II also features either a preset or adjustable stainless steel pressure regulator. As always, all AirDog II units come complete with fittings, fuel lines, mounting brackets, and full-color installation manual specific to each model truck.

We have fielded numerous calls regarding model years 1998.5 2004 Dodge trucks modified with in-tank fuel pumps. To facilitate an easier installation, Pureflow offers models available for 1998.5 2004 Cummins that are standard without an in-tank pump, or that have been modified with the in-tank pump. Please note that this option applies to 100 GPH models only, as the higher-flow models (150 GPH and up) will still come standard with the suction tube kit and bypass the in-tank pump anyway.

And finally, for the 1998.5-2002 Cummins owner that has a failed factory, block mounted pump, and merely looking for a stellar upgrade over stock, but not wanting to jump into a frame mounted system, the Factory Replacement Raptor is your answer. This features 100 GPH of reliable fuel delivery and mounts in the factory location for ease of installation. The FRRP is a great alternative for those only running a programmer and are not concerned with additional filtration. This unit only comes with a four year warranty, in contrast to the lifetime warranty of Pureflow's frame mounted systems.

Great pump

"I have a 94 f350 with dual fuel tanks and a stock 24v cummins engine swapped. I was able to install this pump on the frame rail just passed the tank selector valve. It has worked well for over a year now."

Flawless

"I just want to say how impressed I am with deisel power products!! I was in a pinch and ordered a lift pump (Raptor 150) after a bad experience of ordering a raptor 100 off amazon from a seller that had good reviews and shipped to my state so i went with it cause i have amazon prime :woman-facepalming:. The pump from amazon was already used and took 8 days to get here! I wnet online and did some searching and found diesel power products!!! There prices were unbeatable and also they were the only place that had the pump in stock (decided to go with the 150 cause there prices were awesome) and shipped to my state! I made the order on 1/5/26 around 8PM and got my confirmation email within a few minutes of ordering. The next day around 9AM, 1/6/26. I received an email saying my order was shipped and on its way! very impressive! I didnt even pay for expedited shipping or anything and just received my order 1/8/26! I opened up the package and everything was in tip top shape! It took about 2 hours to install the pump but it works great and truck runs flawlessly. Alot of the time finding websites and dealers that have what you need let alone for a good price and actually care about there customers is nearly impossible. With diesel power product you don't need to worry about any of that. I am so happy I used them and will continue to use them for every single part I need for my 02 ram 3500! Thank you so much guys and we will be doing buisness again very soo. Cheers!! 🥂"

Installed on a 01 Ram

"Installed on a 01 Ram 2500, everything went on perfectly and the included instructions were spot on. Stock carter pump was tired and would hold 7 psi idling, after install was immediately pegged out at 30 psi on my gauge. (glow shift gauges, may need to check with mechanical one lol) Got it turned down to 18 psi and truck is running better than ever! Feels like I got some power back as well great product!"

Jerry W. (5/5)

Works great! I had low

"Works great! I had low fuel pressure 4-9psi on my 98. 5. Easy install. And I’m now running 14-20 psi."

Ethan L. (5/5)

Quality upgrade!

"Simple quality replacement an nice addition if you plan to bump your power up some on the VP trucks. Big line kit is nice to have with this setup. Easy to tackle this job with basic tools. Pressing the fittings into the hoses are easy. Should be a nice reliable setup on my 01 24v."

"Packaged well, great instructions, good shipping."

It fits right on easy

"It fits right on easy install I just don't know how to submit the 4 Year warranty plus the other four I have paid for. Selection of quick fittings work out just fine. 02 5. 9 24v Cummins"

"Fit really well. Easy install right where factory pump went. No major modifications. Another good job by DPP. Thank you guys. Highly recommend this place for parts."

Les B. (5/5)

I would buy this product again

"Fast shipping. Easy to install. Pump was only pushing about 10psi at first. Ended up turning it up to 16psi at idle and doesn't get any lower than 14psi on throttle. Very simple to adjust. So far very happy."

Q&A

Have a 100gph in-frame mounted Raptor with 50HP injectors and about to install a larger Fleece Cheetah turbo and wondering if i should upgrade to the 150gph unit. The 100 currently is functioning ok (not sure how old the thing is) and supplying about 13psi at idle. Thoughts?
The 100gph pump will work just fine with 50hp injectors. Not need to step to a 150 until about 125hp injectors. -Sands

I'm in need of a new VP44. I'm getting an aftermarket pump that requires minimum 150gph & 100hp injectors. Already have injectors. Been using raptor 100gph for years. Will this 150 suite my needs?
This is a 150 gph pump. This pump would meet your minimum requirements for gpf flow.
What kind of HP ratings is this capable of supporting?
The 150's are capable to support 600-800hp.
