During bidding, shops see only your service ZIP code, vehicle year/make/model, and the part SKU — not your name, email, or address. Only the shop you select receives your contact details after payment. We never sell your personal information.

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), based out of Missoula, Montana, has been building custom vehicles designed to tackle the rigors of off-roading, overlanding, and general day to day commuting since 1997. AEV originally gained a substantial amount of publicity with their line of stretched Jeeps that dds a pickup-style bed behind the cab area, creating a highly functional and visually appealing work of art. This unique upgrade melded with additional suspension and powertrain upgrades from AEV has created a vehicle that many would argue should have been available from the factory.
With the Jeep market cornered, American Expedition Vehicles unveiled its lineup for the Ram Heavy Duty market in 2014, dubbing this new application the Prospector. The Prospector has taken the same approach that AEV has always taken, to produce products that serve a functional purpose and design and build these products to a standard that exceed even OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) standards. With the original unveiling of the Prospector at the SEMA Show in 2014, AEV has gained and continued to build on the notoriety they have had for years in the Jeep market, but now within the Ram HD community. While its true there are numerous other companies producing wheels, bumpers, and suspension systems for this application, you would be hard pressed to find another company that does it with the amount of finesse as AEV. And even more difficult, a company that has built all of their components to work in harmony with one another, but work just as well when used as individual components.

"Fairly easy install if you have the right tools and follow the instructions. Fit and finish are great and the intake looks awesome on the truck. This is a all in 100% all in modification, no turning back after you commit. Just wished the diesel version came with a plastic tube to get rid of the dryer vent hose that RAM uses for the intake. And as usual, fast processing and shipping from the guys at Diesel Power Products."

"It looks good . Box was damaged and no instructions inside ,had to look on Internet to find. Would've liked connecter hose factory hose was missing had to purchase complete elbow from Mopar to get a hose from air filter box."
"Had a great experience ordering the snorkel easy place the order and it arrived in about 4 days even with free shipping. The snorkel is about a medium difficulty to install so know what your doing before you start or take it to someone who does! It comes with a template for where to cut and drill for the install. All in all I could be happier it looks great and functions the way it should. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes off road or just wants to add a cool looking accessory."
"First off instructions are not included in the box, you have to look them up online. Once you find them you have to try and decipher them. The instructions go back and fourth between gas/eco/Cummins. I found this confusing and waisted a lot of time going back and forth making sure I was doing the right step. Some of the steps seem out of sequence. In the end I got it installed and I'm overall happy with it. For as much as it cost it would have been nice to have the instructions included and perhaps a bumper sticker or something."
"I am build a AEV ram one part at a time. Raised air intake was installed on a 2016 ram CTD 3500 SRW, install was pretty involved but DIY. Instructions and template were good. I recommend this for anyone wanting cold clean air and for anyone operating in dusty conditions. I got the optional SY Klone pre cleaner and would recommend that over the ram air. Person answering the phone knew the product and said there is a few trucks running around the shop with them, he even gave me a few installation tips, awesome service from someone that actually knows our trucks and truck parts."
