The intake manifold on your truck is the last opportunity your engine has to ingest a clean, fast, tabulated air. Unfortunately, the majority of factory manifolds are built with numerous sharp angles, poor castings, and generally inhibit airflow. And this problem is only exacerbated as you add a larger turbo(s), performance tuning, and/or additional fueling. By upgrading your engine to a higher flowing intake manifold, you'll gain quicker turbo response, a broader power band, cooler Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT), and in some cases, even improved fuel economy!
