HUBB Lifetime Oil Filters are built like a tank but with a carbon footprint of a butterfly! These filters are made of the strongest alloys, fluoroelastomers, and threads with over two feet of media in each filter, it's simply a product manufactured to a higher standard. This is how HUBB offers a 100,000 mile warranty on all of their filters. Typical oil filters use a bypass valve that allows unfiltered oil back into the engine. The problem with that design is the filter is no longer filtering oil once it is in bypass mode. The oil that is flowing through the filter, picking up stored contaminates, and re-introducing them back into the engine. These affects can be devastating in a very short period of time. HUBB continues filtering even while operating in bypass mode by using their patented intergrated secondary filtration system.
