If you're looking to buy the best stock replacement injector on the market, you really don't need to look any further than Bosch. Bosch is the original manufacturer (OE) for the majority of the injectors found in our light duty diesels.
For trucks that came from the factory with Bosch injectors, such as any Ram with a Cummins engine and the majority of Duramax and Powerstoke applications, there literally isn't any other company that actually builds these injectors from "scratch." Instead, they rely on core injectors, which again are built by Bosch, then they rebuild those injectors using their own components. While many rebuilders are fully capable of properly rebuilding to Bosch standards, Bosch is noted as having the utmost control on consistency and ensuring that all injectors meet stringent quality control standards.
And for those of you that may prefer a truly brand new injector in which no component has been rebuilt, Bosch is the only supplier for those originally equipped with Bosch that does so. Under this principle, every part of the injector is truly brand new and will typically not have an associated core charge, another big bonus.
