Are you the proud owner of a 1994-1998 12 valve Cummins? If so, you own one of the most proven, longest lasting diesel engines ever produced! So why would you want to mess with perfection? The reason is simple...that neighbor of yours just bought a brand new diesel that comes from the factory with 150 more horsepower than your truck came with. But that's not the only reason, a 12 valve Cummins has the ability to be easily tuned for additional horsepower, creating a tire eating monster! So, "why not" is the real reason. We offer complete factory replacement P7100 injection pumps or performance pumps from BD and Industrial Injection. Dynomite Diesel, BD, and Industrial Injection also supply us with an assortment of performance injectors and unique fuel plates for an extremely simple power adder. If you own a 1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins, you may actually have a 12 Valve or a 24 Valve Cummins engine, and it is VERY important to know which engine you have, if you do not already. The easiest way to check is the factory badging on the front doors of the truck. On 12 valves, it will read "2500" or "3500" and directly below that, it will say "Turbo Diesel." On 24 valves, it will still show the "2500" or "3500," but will say "24 Valve Turbo Diesel." If the factory badging has been removed, one can also tell by inspection of the valve cover. A 12 valve will have six separate valve covers, and a 24 valve will have one solid cast valve cover.
