G56 Transmissions in Dodges and Rams starting mid-2005 utilize a
dual mass flywheel for driver comfort and longevity of drivetrain
components. Great in theory, but despite the G56's robust appearance,
the dual mass system doesn't hold up in severe duty situations, or
higher power production and frankly, are known to be prone to failure.

being common for daily driven trucks, to really benefit from the
additional power, you need a drivetrain that will hold up under rough
conditions. The 1200 Series Street dual plate systems from Clutch Masters

is a larger diameter assembly, which is designed for high torque output
applications. Mated to a billet steel flywheel you also allow yourself a
modular system, so in the case of required repairs, you can piece
together what you need, instead of having another large repair bill.
