Does your Duramax have a little wander in the steering? In many instances, this is caused by a worn pitman and/or idler arm. Because of the nature of these steering components, they are best to be replaced together which will deliver an immediately noticeable increase in steering responsiveness. And for those that would rather get an upgrade over stock, this Extreme Duty version from Rare Parts is just that, especially useful for trucks with oversized tires.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This kit includes a 3 master spline pitman arm, which is by far the most prevalent. However, there have been known some applications with a 4 master spline pitman arm. Please confirm fitment by removing the nut at the pitman arm and counting the master splines. If you have a 4 spline arm, we offer these components separately.
