Yeah, we think its pretty dumb that the new GM Duramax's don't have a factory steering stabilizer too. But, at least there are easy to install, inexpensive options to get one added. This bolt-on bracket from SuspensionMaxx does just that, you just need to supply the dampener of choice and you're set. This bracket is specifically designed to work on stock trucks and trucks equipped with Cognito's PISK (Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit) steering brace kit.
GM removed the factory welded on steering stabilizer mount for the 2016 model year 2500HD trucks. If you own a 2016+ GM 2500HD and would like to add a steering stabilizer bracket suspensionMAXX has the kit for you! The SuspensionMAXX steering stabilizer bracket features an easy bolt on installation with a solid robust design. Adding a steering dampener or steering stabilizer greatly reduces or eliminates bump steer and jolts felt through the steering wheel. Leveling, lifting or adding larger tires and wheels can increase these conditions. Adding a steering stabilizer to your 2016+ truck has never been easier.
