AFE's BladeRunner GT Series Intercooler Kit is the perfect fit for the EcoDiesel enthusiast. At the heart of the system is an oversized 3" thick bar and plate core that outflows the OE intercooler system by up to 16%. This means 16% more cold air flowing into your engine and getting the most out of each stroke of the engine. End tanks are constructed out of heavy-duty TIG-welded aluminum plates which are race proven for their durability. To give superior strength, AFE uses billet aluminum inlets and outlets utilizing a quick-connect adapter with an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free fit. As for the tubes, they are powder coated wrinkle black, and made of mandrel-bent aluminum guaranteeing maximum airflow with smooth bends that minimize turbulence and pressure loss.
As for installation, this intercooler was designed to keep the same factory mounting locations so no worries about needing extra work done to make it fit. While it fits in the same spot as stock, nobody will confuse the two of them due to AFE's brush finish and laser engraving for a sharp look.
