One of the biggest weak links of the 4 speed transmission behind your Cummins is that of the input shaft. While the stock shaft is typically adequate with a stock torque converter, the second you install a heavy duty torque converter, the stall rate changes, meaning more shock load is applied to the input shaft due to less slippage. This change typically spells disaster for the input shaft and it will snap and also destroy your new converter. Upgrade to one of BD's billet shafts for unprecedented and unbreakable strength you'll never have to worry about again.
