The panel is constructed from 0.2-inch thick extruded aluminum with a black anodized finish and is paired with powder-coated steel mounts, tie-down anchors, and rust-resistant stainless hardware for long-lasting durability. Most tonneau covers are compatible, although retractable covers such as Retrax can interfere with the front mounts. The system is not compatible with RamBox beds, most toolboxes or transfer tanks, and plastic drop-in bed liners without trimming.
