It installs without cutting, splicing, or modifying the factory fuel lines or fuel tank and continues to use the stock fuel control module to adjust fuel delivery pressure based on engine load. The pump has also been validated for use with up to 20% biodiesel and tested with S\u0026amp;S Diesel Motorsport DCR conversion and CP4 Disaster Prevention kits.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe kit also makes fuel filtration easier to service while replacing factory components that can become failure points. The under-bed assembly replaces the factory furnace-style filter with a convenient spin-on filter, mounts in the factory location, connects directly to the existing fuel lines and chassis harness, and retains the factory water-in-fuel circuitry. Under the hood, a billet aluminum cap and billet quick-disconnect fittings replace the crack-prone factory plastic filter components and use a serviceable Donaldson spin-on filter.
