To fit the monster compressor wheel, they developed a unique, OEM appearing, anti-surge ring, which nestles in the factory compressor cover. Matching the class-leading compressor performance meant updating the center section which is fitted with a 360-degree thrust bearing to increase reliability under heavy load transitions. The wastegate was even updated to make sure you have the most amount of power and the quickest spool-up.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eWith the compressor side and center section put together, a turbine wheel and exhaust housing upgrades had to be made. The LB7 Stealth Mach 2 (67) features the largest turbine available in an IHI-style (stock LB7 turbo) frame. This dramatically reduces drive pressure and allows for serious power production even at high RPM where the IHI typically falters.
