Designed to create additional clearance between the factory fuel filter and the valve cover, this simple upgrade makes it much easier to get a filter wrench into position when servicing the fuel system. It is especially useful when running a CAT filter adapter or oversized fuel filter, where the additional space can make the difference between a frustrating filter change and a straightforward one.

Machined from 3/8-inch aluminum, the spacer moves the fuel filter head away from the engine to provide more room for filter removal while also helping keep the filter head cooler. Installation is simple and requires no permanent modifications, with the kit including the aluminum spacer and extended mounting bolts needed to reposition the factory filter head. This is a straightforward upgrade for anyone looking to improve fuel filter accessibility, particularly on trucks equipped with larger aftermarket filters.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0892/2487/2301/files/dmax-fhs-1116-3_ea37fa52-1e06-45a4-a3d4-47e12c9d0c65.jpg?v=1791237606
https://dieselpowerproducts.com/products/dmaxstore-fuel-filter-head-spacer-01-16-gm-6-6l-duramax-lb7-lly-lbz-lmm-lml
