Each BD manifold adds two mounting holes that aren't used by the factory design, spreading the clamping force across more points and helping keep the manifold sealed to the cylinder head through repeated heat cycles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe manifolds use a thicker casting with uniform wall thickness to help resist the warping and cracking that can lead to exhaust leaks. BD also includes studs that are 15mm longer along with matching spacers, allowing the hardware to better accommodate the manifold's expansion and contraction.
