One of the most common failure points on higher mileage 7.3L Powerstroke's are the up-pipes. The factory up-pipes can develop leakage due to the exhaust crush donuts. Exhaust gas then escapes and can burn up the feed pipes leading to a loss of turbo drive pressure resulting is poor turbo spool up and high egt's. Sinister Diesel 7.3L Powerstroke Up-Pipes are made from stainless steel tubing, solid stainless steel CNC flanges, and include the factory cast merge piece. All seams are TIG welded on a jig fixture for precise fitment tolerances and then back-purged for the highest quality and strongest welds possible.
