The EGR valve in the 6.4L Ford Powerstroke is an essential part of the emission system. The EGR valve recirculates exhaust gasses to be reburned which reduces combustion temperatures resulting in a reduction of oxides of nitrogen emissions. Failure of this component can result in check engine light and increase emissions. This new EGR valve is manufactured to meet or exceed OE performance specifications.
