Undoubtedly, the most important gauge you can add to your diesel truck is an Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) gauge, also known as a pyrometer. This gauge monitors the temperature of the exhaust as it leaves your engine, giving you immediate notice when things start to heat up, as opposed to waiting for your oil or coolant to slowly rise. Utilizing a type K thermocouple and R660 lead wire ensures accurate readings. These gauges come with everything you need for installation: gauge, thermocouple, wiring, and harness. The R42000-Style is an excellent match for 2014-2018 Ram trucks, including fonts, backlit color, and the background with silver indicator ring.
