The factory crankcase breather hose can become oil soaked and eventually start to deteriorate. This tube directs excessive oil from the breather assembly to the factory style catch can. If your hose is missing and or deteriorated to the point that it becomes unusable, replace it with a genuine Cummins Replacement Breather Hose. This hose is a direct replacement for the factory hose and is a great addition if you are already replacing the crankcase vent filter.
