The Ram 6.7L Cummins Trucks are notorious for leaking oil pans. Most people shy away from trying to repair these leaks as it is not the most enjoyable jobs to do. Although repairing this will not add any horsepower, the satisfaction you will get from no longer leaking oil on your driveway makes it worth it. Repair your leaking oil pan with a Cometic Oil Pan Gasket. This is a direct fit gasket and will seal your oil pan the right way stopping those annoying oil leaks.
TECH TIP: After you have removed your factory oil pan, ensure the sealing surface is flat. Since the oil pan is a stamped steel construction the bolt holes can become deformed not allowing a proper seal between the gasket and the oil pan. Also, when installing the new gasket, use a small amount of silicon gasket adhesive between the oil pan and the gasket to hold the gasket in place when re-installing the oil pan.
