If you're the owner of a 2nd Gen Cummins, you need to worry about your KDP. And if you've never heard of the KDP, then you need to read this. In short, there is a factory installed dowel pin in the front timing cover which has been known to literally fall out and into the timing gears, most notoriously on 12 valves. When this pin falls out, it can lead to a catastrophic engine failure. Don't let this simple issue lead to the demise of your engine by upgrading with this kit.
