While its true that we are huge advocates for the aftermarket industry, in certain instances, the factory really got it right! For this reason, we offer numerous original equipment replacement parts, as well as genuine Mopar upgrades / accessories for your Ram. For those unfamiliar, Mopar is essentially the brand associated with any factory parts for Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, or Jeep vehicles. The name “Mopar” was originally coined in 1937 to launch Chrysler’s line parts and accessories that all start with antifreeze. The actual name “Mopar” came about from “motor” and “parts,” pretty creative huh?! Well, maybe not that creative, but the name has stuck this entire time and become a household name in the automotive industry.

Q: What does "Mopar" stand for or mean?
A: The name "Mopar" was originally derived from "MOtor" and "PARts" - pretty clever, huh?
Q: Does Mopar have any parts for Ford or GM?
A: No, Mopar only offers parts for Ram, Dodge, Jeep, and other Chrysler related auto manufacturers.
Q: Are Mopar parts reliable?
A: In our experience, all of the Mopar parts we offer are reliable, yes. Now, that's not us telling you that all factory parts are reliable, because otherwise, why would much of the aftermarket exist, allowing you to upgrade?! We've done our best to only offer those factory parts that, in our experience, have proven to be reliable and a good option when it does come time for you to replace.
Q: Who makes Mopar oil filters?
A: Mopar as a company does not make its own oil filters. Rather, they are outsourced from companies that specialize in the production of oil filters and have proven to build a reliable product. Mopar uses Purolator, Champion Labs, and Wix to produce oil filters, but its nearly impossible to know which of these three companies may have produced one particular oil filter.
