What this means is that lock-to-lock,you'l typically get 4-4.5 turns of the steering wheel. The half ton trucks came with a three turn box, resulting in 3-3.5 rotations. Many aftermarket boxes you'll find at your local parts store, or other, will be a three turn which has been found to not be as advantageous, especially those with larger than stock tires. Red-Head has been able to maintain a four turn box and what you'll be getting here.
